In my 20s, I got a truck license and it opened a lot of doors . I was also all about chasing women and partying back in the younger years , then outta nowhere started a family. Next thing I knew, the family's grown up, I'm single, with nothing but a smashed up car, a car with a blown engine , and I lost my job while moving house.
I really only started getting my sh*t together last year after barely making it through each week and getting nowhere. I took a good look at my statements to see where I was spending , then set my bank up to pay, save, and invest automatically, plus salary sacrifice.
Now I'm always just broke AF haha, but at least my debt's shrinking and there's money for the future, which feels better. It's not all boring and gloomy either I have an account that automatically takes a little each week to send me to Vegas and Texas next April , and another account for events like Cooly Rocks On .
Just looked at my main bank account and I've got 19c , but my Vegas account has $2,300, my Wise account has almost USD $700, and my ETFs are over $9k after 9 months investing .
