Should I switch to biweekly mortgage payments to save money?

Most mortgage companies don't let you split your payment. You pay the full amount or nothing.

We can only put extra money toward the principal, and that has to be done when we make the monthly mortgage payment.

So, over time, any extra amount from one dollar to a hundred dollars helps. However, here in California, with homes that have a million dollar mortgage, an extra dollar doesn't help very much.
 
So, I finally got around to setting up the bill pay thing through my bank. On the plus side, our current mortgage company is actually pretty chill they let us make weekly payments if we feel like it.
