How can I learn to accurately price my trade services?

So I'm running a trades biz, calculating overheads from my P&L... and whoa, shocked at the actual breakeven cost of running a micro/small?biz .

About to up my rates by like 50% – I had no idea I was that far off the mark ‍.

Any book recs?

I see all this trade coaching stuff as miserable dribble tbh, think reading would be way more beneficial.

Yeah, the running costs right now are bad. I'm an electrical contractor, and my cost per hour is $124. That's before I make a dollar.

We're a small construction business. Overheads? About 300k a year. And that's not counting employees they're their own opex.
