Morning lads. I have 5k spare each month to put into Vanguard, and I plan to continue for at least the next 15 years. In your opinion, what is the best ETF to invest in continuously for maximum growth? My first investment will be about 200k, then 5k a month will follow. Thanks.

Hi Anonymous,

I’d diversify the portfolio across high growth ETFs, including industry specific areas like semis and data centres. I’d also consider internally geared options and hold close to 40–50% in Vanguard.

Diversifying into high growth matters it gives you a shot at earning alpha, and with a good time frame, that’s doable.

Review the right structure too: personal name (low earning family member) or investment bond for effective tax outcomes.

Depending on age, consider contributing some to Super, since it may be available to draw down after 60.

There are many ways to do this.

Picking Vanguard and going with it is good at leas t you’re doing it but it’s not enough.

Markets have bounced back spectacularly, so consider drip feeding into investments.

Happy to chat more I love this stuff.

All the best!

Sounds like you could buy some land with that amount as a deposit. You’d be cruising. Otherwise, I’m going with NDQ and IVV. I was investing in IOO. IVV fees are lower. NDQ has done amazing since I started a couple years ago.
