Hey boys! I'm 28, working FIFO. And I want to know: has anyone used a good financial advisor—one that actually works and grows with you? Because I don't want to put my money and time into someone who's not going to get me a good result, you know? Also, has anyone been down the path of buying businesses before and had any success? I’m a financial planner, and I know plenty of.good ones. Most issues actually come from clients, not from us.
I wouldn’t refer you to any of them unless you’re serious about saving and investing. If you’ve worked FIFO for a few years and think you’re in a great spot because you own 5 jet skis, 2 boats, 3 utes, and a caravan, then I wouldn’t refer you.
You also need to explain what a “good result” means to you – it’s different for everyone.
