Which bank should I switch to after bad ANZ Plus experience?

BANKS!!

My partner and I just set up linked accounts with ANZ. However, they moved us to the 'upgraded' ANZ Plus.

The app performs poorly, the cards are unreliable, and the interest rates are low.

Now we want to change banks. Any recommendations?

We maintain several accounts: everyday spending, long-term savings, a mortgage, bills, and one for our daughter.

So banks basically have a bunch of different apps because their back end systems are ancient and can't really connect, like you see with ANZ or BOQ. It's tough to suggest a specific bank without knowing what you're actually looking for.
 
You know, I’ve heard quite a few cheerful whispers from clients singing praises for the app and everyday banking at Macquarie, Up Bank, Bankwest, and CBA apparently, they’re doing something right!
