Should I Continue or Back Out of My Debt Consolidation Program?

So, I signed up with this debt consolidation program called Simple Path Financial l. I'm trying to climb out of this sinking ship, you know? But now I'm hearing some not-so-great things about these kinds of companies, and honestly, I'm a little torn. Should I stick with it, or should I bail now that I've just started? Has anyne had any luck either way? Debt is literally making me feel sick to my stomach at this point, so this path seemed like my best shot.

I did this a year ago, and it’s been a mess. I wish I had handled it myself instead. Now, I’m dealing with a court summons for one of my credit cards in the progam. They paid off two of the debts I enrolled, but I wasn’t aware that settling more than $600 leads to a 1099 form once it’s settled and paid off, which I have to use at tax time. If I could do it over, I’d do it the Dave Ramsey way.

I would withdraw. I'm continuing with National Debt Relief. I have been with the company since December. No settlements yet, but I'm hoping for my first one next month.
