Need help paying off credit card debt

I need some help! Fast! They say the first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one.. well here it is: I somehow :rolleyes: :( managed to build up quite some credit card debt and, while I'm slowly paying it off, I'm afraid I'll never manage to get rid of it. My parents don't know I'm in trouble, so asking for help from their part is out of the question.
Has anyone ever been in a similar situation and can help? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
 
How much debt do you have?
I was in a situation similar to yours, I had almost $2500 in credit card debt, but I managed to pay it off in no time, by taking on a second part-time job. It was rough but the extra income helped a lot. Point is, you need to find a way to earn more money or cut off some of your expenses. However, depending on the amount of money you owe, it's difficult to give you any precise piece of advice. Is it a few hundred bucks? Is it thousands?

Well, right now, I have almost $14,700 in credit debt (this number was higher but I try to lower it every chance I get!), I live by myself (so, I pay for everything with my salary, no one else helps) and I don't even earn a lot (less than $25,000 which is frustrating when you have debt).
