Need a mortgage broker for a construction loan—bank backing out?

Hey everyone,

So I'm on the hunt for a mortgage broker who can help me sort out a construction loan.

Just to give you some background, I've got a signed building contract with my building business. One bank initially told me they could handle it normally,.but now, months later, they're backtracking and trying to push me into going the owner-builder route.

I think you own the property too. And yes, that was always my challenge you’re the owner and the builder, so technically you’re an owner builder. I had to pay for it with private loans. I do know a really good broker.
