How to repair credit after bankruptcy?

I haven't filed for bankruptcy myself, but I'd like to help someone out, with advice, if I can.
So, this person has filed for bankruptcy but has recently been discharged from it. Of course, his credit score suffered a great deal! So, seeing how I'm in a similar situation, I know how difficult it is to get help.

Does anyone know how to repair credit score after bankruptcy?
I'm sure everyone can benefit from this thread, you never know when something like this will happen to you!

First off, let me just say, once you file for bankruptcy, you're seen as a risk for any lender. As a consequence, your friend will not only have a hard time getting his next loan approved, but he will also pay a higher interest rate than normal.

So, as a piece of advice to your friend, tell him he should wait a while before applying for a loan. It's not a good sign applying for one right away!
