How have my spending habits changed in 2024?

I withdraw cash once a month.
I split it into quarters.
I use only a quarter per week.
Once it’s out, it’s out.
No more swiping a card.
This has helped a lot with keeping track.

I make sure to only pick up the stuff I really need, and I always check out Facebook Marketplace first. If I don't find it there, I'll swing by Goodwill or ask around in the local free groups on Facebook. I'm skipping eating out these days instead, I pack my own lunch for work.

Yeah, definitely I'm doing a no spend year, so it's made me way more aware and careful with my money. Honestly, it's been great; I've managed to stash away almost $3,500 since January.
