How can I manage $43K in debt with no extra income?

I've been reading posts here for debt payoff ideas.
I owe about $13,000 in credit card debt, $20,000 in personal loans, and $10,000 in a private student loan.
I'm not including my car loans.

For health reasons, I can't take a second job right now.
I'd love to make and sell something on Etsy, but it’s very difficult.
I've already tried.

After making minimum payments on all bills and covering monthly expenses, nothing is left over.
My emergency savings is around $1,200.

I’m very good at budgeting.
There’s nothing left to cut back on.
I don’t eat out, II meal prep weekly, and I make my coffee at home.
The only streaming subscription I pay for is $1.
For others, I use family logins.

Today I told myself I’d relax and maybe nap.
My body needed it.
But I kept researching instead.

I had a great credit score, but now it’s just under 700.
I think it’s time to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Even then, after monthly bills and expenses, I’d be short by less than $250 a month.

I just have to move forward with this.

Reaching out to a nonprofit consumer credit service is a smart move. They can:

  • Help you create a clear plan.
  • Walk you through your options.

It's a great first step to take.

Read Psalm 32. The Lord is my shepherd. Do it for three days. Out loud. Many times a day. Make it real.

When it says he makes me sit down with my enemies… Debt is your enemy. Mine too. When I get home in three days, I’m setting the table.!Five plates. Just me. Nothing on them yet. Then I’ll rest each plate. Put a creditor’s bill on each one. Psalm 23 beside them. And let God open the door for me. Ask him for wisdom.

You have cut back everywhere. You are doing your best. It is overwhelming. Talk to a trusted financial counselor. Contact a nonprofit credit expert. Let them see your full picture. Explore all options. Find the non obvious ones. Walk through this with someone. Gain clarity. Find hope.
