How can I find all my debts for free and start managing them?

Years dealing with debt. At this point, some of it — completely lost track.

Need to pull it all together. Actually understand what I owe. Start getting on top of it.

Any legit, free credit checks showing the full picture?
Do I need a financial advisor? Or a better first step?

Just need a clear path. What to do next.

Get a copy of your Equifax credit report. That will show you what you need to do.

If you don't know how much you owe, go through the process and contact the relevant parties. Ask for payout figures these are usually negotiable.

Depending on how old the debts are, you may be able to have them wiped and removed from your credit file. It depends on which state in Australia you're in.

You can also pay a third party company to negotiate your debts and, in some cases, get them wiped. But do your research before hiring anyone there are scammers in that sector.

Personally, I hired someone to sort my credit rating and wipe a credit card debt through a third party company. It worked out great. It was cheaper than paying the debts, and I walked away with a perfect credit rating. Two months later, I was able to buy my house.
