How can an SMSF be 100% crypto if ATO requires diversification?

Hey, so I’ve got a quick question. I’m pretty.familiar with this stuff, and I know funds like this exist and are somehow running and compliant. But can someone help me understand how the ATO says you CAN’T have an SMSF that’s totally in cryptocurrency because of diversity rules, but then turns around and says you actually CAN, as long as you’ve got a solid investment strategy? It just doesn’t add up for me—I’m just curious if anyone has more info on how this works.

Honestly, it's tough to keep 100 percent in anything. A fund really needs to stay liquid for all the basics accounting fees, taxes, the supervisory levy, audit fees, and so on. I’ve always felt it’s smart to keep some cash on hand.
