Does credit repair work?

I see some of the members here are asking questions in regards to credit repair (credit repair software, credit repair companies, and so on).

My question, however, has to do with my skepticism: does credit repair actually work?

I've heard many of the companies that claim to repair your credit score are scams! So, are there any guarantees that credit repair really works?
 
Credit repair does work, IF you stay away from scam companies :)
If you have some errors on your credit report, or even errors that can't be justified, then credit repair HAS to work!
