so my spouse settled her consumer cc debts and recvd 4 1099-c from them . how do you handle this for tax filing? we want to claim insolvency. We own a home together. do we put 50 of its value for her assets? what about the mortgage? 100 or 50 pct of it ? while you can parse the asset , you cannot send in one mortg payment.
