Will 5% Deposit Scheme Actually Raise House Prices Soon?

Hi all. What are your thoughts on the 5% deposit for new home buyers? Will this push housing prices up soon?

Anything that makes buying a house easier increases demand and therefore increases prices. Economics 101.

Thanks for the replies. We have an investment under construction. We have not decided whether to hold it or sell when complete. We already get the capital gains discount. We bought the land 4.5 years ago.
