Is a Vehicle Wrap/Tint Business Profitable Enough to Quit My Job?

Hey folks, anyone here running their own vehicle wrapping or tinting business? Is it a pretty profitable gig when you’re doing it for yourself?

Right now I’m just doing it on the side, but I’m thinking about going full-time and opening my own shop to replace my day job. Just looking for some thoughts from people already in the industry..Thanks, and hope you’re all having a great Sunday!

If businesses weren't profitable, they wouldn’t last but how does success truly come? It doesn’t simply arrive without effort; rather, what does it take for someone to truly make it work?

Go for it, my friend! Honestly, it's incredibly tough, and just wrapping and tinting cars barely scratches the surface of what it takes to actually run the whole show. I walked away from my 9 5 job three years ago, and it honestly feels like just three months have gone by. We were in the red for the first two years, and even though?our revenue looks pretty good these days, we're only just about to break even this year. I could chat all day about the hurdles we faced and honestly, I bet it’s just going to keep getting tougher. What helps me is setting small goals, celebrating every tiny victory, and always keeping my eyes on the bigger dream.

I feel so lucky to live somewhere where opportunities like this even exist. Bottom line: if you don’t take the chance, you’ll never find out. Wishing you all the best!

Not in the industry myself. But a good market to target?
Maybe something like Tradies wraps in Bayswater or Kilsyth, Victoria.
Catering to businesses, designing vehicle logos for them. I’ve seen it. Seems lucrative.
