What are realistic financial goals to set for 2026?

I had this goal to pay $20k toward my home equity loan, which was sitting at $34k on January 1st. Then I got an unexpected $10k from a death in my family, so my new goal is $30k. So far, I’ve paid $16k. My only debt is that loan and my mortgage.
