How do CIBC personal loans compare to others?
I'd like to apply for a personal loan, I'm not yet sure how much to borrow, I'd like to cover my payday loan debt (which I'm currently trying to pay off) + have enough money left to resolve some personal issues.
So, how are CIBC personal loans? Would you recommend them?

CIBC Personal Loans are actually better than many other options out there. You have the option of a fixed interest rate, or variable, which is good, you can opt for a secured or unsecured loan, and so on.

However, not everyone qualifies for a loan with this bank. You must not have declared bankruptcy in the last 7 years, you also have to have a minimum income of at least $17,000, and so on. You can find all requirements here: CIBC Personal Loan requirements.

You should probably look for CIBC Personal Loans reviews before applying, just to make sure. In any case, if you do decide to apply for a personal loan, read the contract carefully before signing anything!

I've actually read quite a few complaints against CIBC. Most complaints I've seen talk about bad customer service, which may or may not have anything to do with their loans and other services.
