I'm really struggling with this situation. My car was totaled, and the Gap insurance didn't cover the full amount, leaving me with a $4,000 shortfall. I'm feeling overwhelmed and unsure about what to do next. Should I try to negotiate a settlement with Credit Acceptance, or is it better to just pay the $4,000? I haven't,reached out to them yet and I'm not sure where to start. Any advice would be really appreciated.
