Best student loans? (top reviews only)

What are the best student loans, for 2016?
My youngest son is starting college next year and he's stubborn enough not to want his parents' help! (not that we have thousands of $$ laying around the house... but still!).
I'm looking for the best option possible, I'd love to help at least by giving him some advice.
So, please, can anyone recommend some student loans that are worth looking into? (maybe some that have unemployment protection as well)
 
It's been a while since I thought about this, but I would most definitely recommend you look into the Stafford loan. It's a federal loan and a very convenient one because the government will pay the interest on the loan while your son is in college. He'd have to qualify for the subsidized loan though, but almost everyone does, so (almost) no worries there!
